Here partying...

Yep, I'm right here partying, meaning we ate lots, exchanged gifts, and are now doing videoke. Had to sing a Celine Dion song and was surprised I was able to "scream out" the parts very well. Drinking red wine a little bit. I don't really drink and I'm just sipping. The more daring part of me wants to get drunk. Of course, I won't. It's just it's my last day/afternoon at work and I really just want to make the most of it. I hope I don't cry later on when it's bye-bye time...

OMG. I think I'm a bit drunk already...

We started out late actually, about 4 p.m. and ended at around 8 p.m. Still not drunk, I guess, ha ha! Just nice to pretend especially when I sang my heart out. It was to let my sadness out as, like I said, it's my last day, because I resigned. So don't envy me so much ;p

Oh, they will, after what I did with that Celine song, ha ha ha!!! But seriously, they're more of my friends and we're all sad that we have to part. But I don't really regret my choice. Better than work for that traitor of a "Boss".

  6. Leaving the old to embrace the new. It may not be a bad thing. and real friends will be there always.

It is done, so be it.

    Be well, Gracie.

  7. Well, best of luck to you! I'm sure you will still maintain your friendships, and maybe that boss of yours won't be so bad if she's not your boss. Yes? No? I've had terrible bosses in my lifetime, and it sure did make life miserable. Now, you're free! :)

  8. "maybe that boss of yours won't be so bad if she's not your boss. Yes? No?"

No. Many people from most of the offices actually hate her for her attitude. I'm not sure if she knows or she pretends she doesn't. What she doesn't know is ALL of those under her are planning to leave her, too, just like those that resigned before I did. You'd think she'd get a clue, but...I actually feel sorry for her. However, she's bringing it upon herself. I warned her before, as a friend, but she just nodded and didn't really take heed.
